WHAT TO EXPECT AT A CONSULT

  • Consultations take 1 hour and 15 minutes or less. There will likely be brides with appointments before and after yours throughout the day, so please be on time. We have dedicated these 75 minutes just for you.
  • Please bring some ideas of what you like for cake designs. Look at magazines, websites, etc. and bring printed images that will show us your inspiration. We will use these as a take-off point to design your unique cake. Also, technology (like smart-phones) are very handy but due to the time constraints, we ask that you do not rely on them to find images during your appointment.
  • We will have your samples ready when you arrive. In addition to tasting your chosen custom flavor combinations and selecting your favorite(s)…we will be happy to work on a design for you. The price of a wedding cake is the cake, filling and frosting + the design time and materials and potential set-up and delivery fees. In order to give you an accurate quote, we will plan on creating a design with you during this consultation.
  • If you are not ready to work on a design and just wish to taste and visit during this consultation, please let us know! We are happy to spend time tasting, giving you ideas and sharing information.
  • You may return for a second consultation with our designer at a later date. Just a reminder, the first consultation is free, however, there is a $25.00 fee for additional appointments.
